Gregory M. Homol ATC, CSCS
Greg Homol is the first Fitness Center Director hired by UMass Dartmouth just before the facility opened in January of 2000.
Prior to his employment at UMass Dartmouth, he worked his way up from customer service rep to manager of a private health club while attending college and serving in the Massachusetts Air National Guard.
Homol's college career began UMass Dartmouth for his first two years. He played varsity football for the Corsairs and was a member of the 1994 New England Football Conference champion Corsair football team which has been inducted into the UMass Dartmouth Athletic Hall of Fame.
His love for "how the body works" led him to Bridgewater State College where he received his bachelor's degree in Physical Education with a concentration in Athletic Training/Sports Medicine. Homol holds certifications from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCS), the National Athletic Training Association (ATC), and the American College of Sports Medicine. He has trained client of varying abilities from the beginner weightlifter, to the amateur bodybuilder, to the professional athlete and enjoys each level.
Homol oversees the day-to-day operations of the UMass Dartmouth Fitness Center as well as having a hands-on role in training UMass Dartmouth student-athletes, students, and employees.
