The Corsairs moved up to 15th place nationally this week. UMass Dartmouth was the only Little East Conference team ranked in the poll. Corsair opponent Salem State was among the teams receiving votes. "I always think it's positive to be ranked, it helps our efforts in terms of recruiting, and makes the kids feel good about themselves," said UMass Dartmouth Head Coach Brian Baptiste. "I'm very pleased with our ranking, I hope that we can maintain what we've been doing and get stronger and better as the year goes along." The Corsairs are 11-1 this season, have won seven games in a row, and are in first place in the Little East Conference with a 3-0 record. They will return to action when they host Plymouth State in the second game of an LEC doubleheader on Saturday. UMASSDARTMOUTH BASKETBALL d3hoops.com Poll 1 Wheaton (Ill.)
