UMass Dartmouth Intramurals 2011-2012 Welcome to the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth Intramurals website! If after that you still have more questions the contact information for our Department Heads is located at the bottom of this page. ______________________________________________________________________________________________ The Intramural program here at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth presents a variety of athletic and wellness activities for students, faculty, and staff. The number of programs offered has grown significantly, especially with the increasing resident population on campus. We are proud to continue to offer all activities free of charge. For this academic year we have activities six days a week and our numbers continue to grow.

INTRAMURAL/ STUDENT EMPLOYEE MESSAGE BOARD:
09/12/2011 - Welcome back: As the new year gets under way, us at the intramural office would like you all to be aware that changes have been made to the HR Direct process. The website director is in the process of creating a booklet with all the information and steps on how to correctly enter your time. Once it becomes available, you will be asked to go to see Mr. Jennings to get one and sign a sheet saying that you got it. Thanks. ~ Intramural Office.
09/22/2011 - Staff Directory Page: The staff directory page has been updated. please check that your phone numbers and email addresses are correct. Any questions please let me know. ~ Website director.
09/22/2011 - Upcoming Mandatory Meeting: Next thursday (the 29th) there will be a mandatory meeting for ALL intramural workers at 7m in the athletic center lobby. No show means no job, so plan on attending. Thanks. ~ Intramural Office. 10/04/2011 - Issues on Entering Time: We have been having some issues involving time reporting correct dates and entry of time in the HR Direct system. We will now ask you to make sure that your time is recorded in the UMD Intramural office book by Friday at noon. You may enter your time before that for the week but make sure it reflects the weeks dates correctly and remember that the day begins on Sunday and ends on Saturday. For example: this week would have been entered as 09/25/2011 (start) to 10/01/2011 (end). Always put it in this way and make sure its correct when you put it online. When there is a holiday or other event on a Monday, HR calls it a "hard Monday." When this happens, you must enter time by Thursday at 5:00 pm. THIS MONDAY (10/10/2011) IS A HARD MONDAY THUS ENTER YOUR TIME FOR THIS WEEK BY THURSDAY AT 5PM.
Our procedure now will be for you to have your time entered into the book in the intramural office by Fridays (unless its a hard Monday) at 12 noon. Also, you can enter online until Friday at 12 noon at HR Direct. If you have any questions about HR Direct, simply come into the office or call me at (508) 999-9255. If you wish to be paid, please follow these instructions closely. NO EXCEPTIONS!! ~ Mr. Jennings ______________________________________________________________________________________________
