Games will run for an hour with a water break in between halves. Please show up to your scheduled game at least 5 minutes before it starts. Bring a change of shoes, preferably indoor soccer shoes. This will prevent the court from getting slippery with outside dirt. Sportsmanship is very important. Profanity, racist/sexist remarks, and rough play will not be tolerated. You WILL be kicked out of the program if found in violation of any of these. Please play fairly and competitively. Team Skillz Big Green Supervisor Interviews (from 2009-2010) We need more time! That is basically what the UMD Intramural Soccer supervisors were saying because they have the largest number of participants in many, many years. Actually, Intramural Soccer is the most popular intramural sport here at UMass Dartmouth. In some ways it comes with the most energy because there are teams, scores are kept, and there are real subs and lineups. The supervisors are very happy with the turnout so far. They were amazed at how fast the numbers increased this year. They increased so much that first of all, they had to add two more teams to the mix (from 10 to 12). They also had to increase the length of the run time. Instead of running from 5-10, it now runs from 4-10. There were a couple of complications with the time increase at first, but everything has been settled. Now as for promotion the supervisors promoted Intramural Indoor Soccer on their group on Facebook.com ("UMD Indoor Soccer"). You can go there for schedules, scores, stats and other information. Besides that the supervisor put up posters throughout the campus. Fortunately the supervisors didn't feel that anything needed to be improved upon. They did mention the possibility of getting some sort of funding for possible team jerseys. Other than that everything is going very well. ACTION PHOTOS (FROM 2009-2010) NEW ONES WILL COME SOON!!
