UMass Dartmouth Athletics and the Hampton Inn of Westport

The UMass Dartmouth Athletic Department and Lafrance Hospitality, owners of the Hamtpon Inn in Westport, MA, have been business partners for more than 14 years. Originally starting with the Hampton Inn Men's Basketball Classic in 1989, and later expanding to include the Hampton Inn Collegiate Invitational golf tournament in 2008 and, most recently,  the inaugural Hampton Inn Women's Basketball Classic in Nov. of 2008, Lafrance Hospitality and UMass Dartmouth Athletics have established a working relationship which benefits both the Athletic Department and the Hampton Inn.

2011 marks the 13th year of the Lafrance Hospitality and Hampton Inn support of the Hampton Inn Basketball Classic at UMass Dartmouth
