Dave Fouracre is serving his fifth year as assistant coach at UMass Dartmouth. Prior to his time with the program, he served as the pitching coach for Bridgewater State from 2007 to 2011 and Curry College in 2006.
Aside from his experience at the collegiate level Fouracre spent over 34 seasons as a high school head coach, amassing a 426-270 career-record at the helm during stints at Oliver Ames, Brockton High School, and most recently Whitman-Hanson in 2013. He has coached over 100 players who went onto play collegiately, with eight being drafted to the MLB.
In a 17-year stint at Brockton, Fouracre steered the program to 13 appearances in the state tournament, including a Div. 1 State Championship in 1997. In 2005, his final year with the Boxers, he was named the 2005 New England Region Coach of the Year by the American Baseball Association.
Fouracre was inducted to the Hall of Fame’s of Algonquin Regional High School (2015), Brockton High School (2006) and is a member of the Massachusetts Baseball Hall of Fame. He is also a veteran of the United State Air Force.
