Bob Prince Named Head Baseball Coach

An eight-year veteran of the coaching staff of one of the top NCAA Division III baseball programs in the nation has been named head baseball coach at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Bob Prince, who has been an assistant coach at Southern Maine since 2003, will succeed Bob Curran, who resigned after the conclusion of the 2011 season. [+]

Baseball Earns LEC Post-Season Awards

The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's baseball team has earned three post-season awards from the Little East Conference. Junior pitcher Pat Lavey (Cranston, RI/Cranston East HS) has been named first team All-Conference as a relief pitcher. Junior third baseman John Granahan (Hanover, MA/Hanover HS/Southern Maine) has been named second team All-Conference at third base. And the Corsairs won the LEC's Sportsmanship Award. [+]
