Bob Curran Position: Head Coach

Robert Curran, Jr. has been the baseball coach at UMass Dartmouth for the last five seasons. A long-time UMass Dartmouth assistant baseball coach, Curran was named the Corsairs' head baseball coach prior to the 2005 season. A 16-year assistant and former Corsair baseball player, Curran succeeded Bruce Wheeler, who retired after the 2004 season following a 33-year career at UMass Dartmouth.

After playing for Wheeler and the Corsairs as an undergraduate in the mid-1980's, Curran joined the coaching staff in 1988. He has served a variety of duties including hitting coach, third base coach and recruiting coordinator in recent years. Curran is a 1999 graduate of UMass Dartmouth.
