Tom Hill, who started and pitched the first inning of the second game, was credited the win and improved to 4-0, while freshman Brandon Borges (Dartmouth, MA/Dartmouth HS) started and took the loss in the nightcap and fell to 1-1. "They hit the ball better than we did," said UMass Dartmouth Head Coach Bob Curran. "We had just come off a conference doubleheader against UMass Boston, and we have another conference game Tuesday. Matt Ryan and Zak Talis hit the ball well for us."
