Football Sets Schedule, Home Opener Set for September 6th
The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's football team will enter a new era next season. The Corsairs, who have been longtime members of the New England Football Conference, will join the Massachusetts Collegiate Athletic Conference next fall, joining seven other NEFC members and Western Connecticut State, which is moving from the New Jersey Athletic Conference.

Five members of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's football team have earned New England Football Conference Boyd Division post-season honors. Senior defensive back Joune Fraser (Barnstable, MA/Barnstable HS/Erie CC), senior kicker Edgar Osols' (Summit, NJ/Summit HS), junior linebacker Joe Texeira (Seekonk, MA/Seekonk HS), junior defensive lineman Jordan McDonald, and freshman kick returner Abiola Aborishade (Attleboro, MA/Attleboro HS) were named to the Boyd Division second team.

The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth’s football team has been picked to finish fourth in the Boyd Division in the fourth annual New England Football Conference pre-season poll. The Corsairs received 34 votes in the poll and were ranked ahead of Curry, Plymouth State, MIT and Nichols in the Boyd Division.
