"We played pretty well in the first half, but we really struggled in the second half," said UMass Dartmouth Head Coach Mark Robichaud. "We had a hard time getting anything going offensively, and that hurt us a lot. We left our defense out on the field an awful lot. Overall, our defense played well. We went into the half down, 10-6, but we couldn't get anything going offensively in the second half. They have a good team that is well coached, they played well, and they wore us down."
BSU outgained the Corsairs, 392 yards to 120. Senior quarterback Patrick Orlando (Manchester, MA/Essex HS/Saint Anselm) completed 14 of 26 passes for 85 yards. Senior wide receiver Brandon McNeish (Springfield, MA/Agawam HS/Bridgton Academy) caught three passes for 41 yards.
