Justin Borden will once again mentor the UMass Dartmouth offensive line as an assistant coach, following a year that saw three Corsair linemen earn All-MASCAC honors in 2016. Under Borden’s guidance. Pat Sullivan became the first Corsair to earn All-America honors since 1998, with Antonio Mitjans and Mike Tinlin both earning All-MASCAC status.
A 2015 UMass Dartmouth graduate, Borden was a mainstay on the Corsair offensive line in his four-year career. He started 29 of his 30 contests and was named a team captain as a senior, helping the Corsairs average 26.0 points per game. Borden provided protection for 341.3 yards per game and 17 touchdowns on the ground. In his four years, Borden and his classmates led UMass Dartmouth to a combined 13-26 record.
