An excellent student-athlete at UMass Dartmouth, it was only natural for John Regan to become a member of the coaching staff while completing his education as both an undergraduate and a graduate student. This season, Regan will coach the defensive line.

A native of Hyde Park, MA, Regan joined the Corsairs after attending Boston Latin High School. He led the Corsairs with 9.5 tackles and 49 yards in lost yardage as a senior, and also paced the team with three sacks for 29 yards. His 42 tackles included 20 solos, and ranked him fifth. As a junior, Regan ranked eighth with 25 tackles, including 10 solos, and had a forced fumble.

A good student, Regan earned Academic All-New England Football Conference honors in his final season while majoring in English. Regan earned bachelors and master's degrees from UMass Dartmouth, and is presently a teacher at Global Charter School in New Bedford.
