"The conditions were kind of tough, it was cold, raining and windy," said UMass Dartmouth Head Coach Joel Baptista. "Ryan Benton had a nice round today. He had a couple of holes where he took a quad and a triple bogey, and still came back with a 78. Pete Danko hit the ball well today, but he couldn't get a putt to drop, and it was nice to get Jake Fryzel into his first collegiate match. We got some of our other players into the rotation for this tournament, and we're in the hunt."
The tournament will conclude Saturday.
