NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. -- Seniors Brendan Kelleher (Hopedale, Mass.) and Pete Danko (Norton, Mass.) were each acknowledged by the Great North Atlantic Conference for their performances this season as member of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth men's golf team.
Kelleher earned a spot on the GNAC All-First Team for his impressive play this season. The senior's best performance came at the Southern Maine Fall Classic where he shot an even par (144) for the tournament and was named the Top Individual Medalist. Back on October 21, Kelleher was named to the All-GNAC Tournament Team after posting a fourth place score of 152 and leading the Corsairs to a second place finish.
Danko was selected for the GNAC All-Second Team, as well as one of nine players on the All Sportsmanship Team. On September 17, he was named GNAC Player of the Week for his performance at the Duke Nelson Invitational. The senior was the Corsairs' low golfer and placed 13th in the individual standings after firing off a 75 and 74 for a two day total of 149. In the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference tournament, Danko stroked a Corsair best 156 for the two days and placed in fourth on individual leaderboard.
