WARWICK, R.I. – Juniors Tom Sheran (Marstons Mills, Mass.) and Jackson Mitchell (Marion, Mass.) led the way for the Corsairs as they registered scores of 81 and 82, respectively, to help the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth to a 12th place finish at the RIC Men's Spring Invitational.

How it Happened
Entering as the third seed for the Corsairs, Sheran led the team and finished tied for 29th overall of the 76 total student-athletes to compete. The junior shot just nine over par, notching his score alongside Wentworth's Paul Arsenault, Dean College's Austin McCreary, Roger Williams' Joshua Unkrich and Griffin Gagne. Classmate Mitchell finished just a hair behind, shooting ten over par to finish tied for 35th.
The squad finished separated by just five, with senior Ben Bedarian (Franklin, Mass.) completing his day with an 86. Classmates Jared Fanning (Lenox, Mass.) and Bryce Mitchell (Greenwich, Conn.) were tied with a score of 85, notching a share for 52nd place overall.
Inside the Numbers
- Rhode Island College defended its invitational by taking first place with a total score of 305 by the end of Saturday, as Friday's portion was rained out.
- Babson College's Chris Bornhorst stood atop the leaderboard with a final score of 73, taking sole possession of the best score.
