The tournament was reduced to 18 holes after play was cancelled Saturday due to inclement weather.

“We wanted to improve on our performance at Middlebury, and we worked hard in practice for two weeks, and it showed on the golf course today,” said UMass Dartmouth Head Coach Joel Baptista. “We showed remarkable improvement, and hopefully, it will give us some momentum going into next weekend. Team wise, we asked a couple of people to step up this weekend, and Kevin was one of them. So far, we’ve seen some good things from Kevin so far this fall. He has put up solid numbers in practice, he earned his spot, and he came through with flying colors.”
The Corsairs will return to action at the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Championships next weekend.
