Corsairs senior goalie Ryan Williams (Milton, ON/Huntsville Otters-OPJHL) replaced Vandervies (14 saves) and the Corsairs found some life when senior forward Phil Bronner (Wilbraham, MA/Springfield Jr Falcons-EJHL) scored back to back goals less than a minute apart cutting the deficit in half at 4-2. His first goal came at 8:36, assisted by junior defenseman Nate Dupere (Fall River, MA/Hebron Academy) and senior forward Dave McDonald (Wakefield, MA/Valley Jr Warriors-EJHL). His second came at 9:07, assisted by McDonald and senior forward Nick Marquis (Londonderry, NH/Valley Jr Warriors-EJHL).
