NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. -- Sophomore Bo Prozinski (Ashland, Mass.) was selected as the Little East Conference Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week on Monday evening by the conference office.
Prozinski produced 10 goals to help the UMass Dartmouth earn a pair of road victories this past week at Salem State and UMass Boston. The native of Ashland, Mass. registered his 100th career point against the Beacons on Saturday afternoon. Prozinski reached the milestone with his third goal of the contest before adding three additional tallies for 103 career points. Earlier in the week, he found the back of the net four times in the win over the Vikings.
A starter in 16 games, Prozinski ranks among the Little East Conference leaders in goals per game (2nd, 3.31) and points per game (3.69). He sits atop the Corsairs in scoring with 59 points, on 53 markers and six assists. Prozinski has tallied six goals with the extra-man and three game-winners. He has been credited with 41 ground ballls and six caused turnovers.
UMass Dartmouth will return to action this evening, when the Corsairs host intra-state rival University of Massachusetts Boston in the first round of the 2014 Little East Men's Lacrosse Championship tournament. The opening face-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
