"We had 60 minutes of good lacrosse today," said UMass Dartmouth Head Coach Kevin Mahoney. "We came out hot in the first and second quarter and played well across the board. This was a good way to get us ready for the playoffs where we'll be playing some talented teams. We played a lot of reserve players in this game to get them some experience moving forward. This season has been one of our finest seasons in school history. We're looking to have a couple good practices this week and I'm pumped for the playoffs."
Freshman goalkeeper Nick Thayer (Chelmsford, MA/Chelmsford HS) made three saves for UMD. Sophomore goalie Pete Foley (Northbridge, MA/Blackstone Valley RVHS) stopped three shots and junior goalie Andrew Weaver (Westport, MA/Westport HS) stopped one in relief.
