UMass Dartmouth and DYSA Team Up To Fight Breast Cancer

NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. -- The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth men's soccer team will host a Boys Under-10 five vs. five scrimmage at halftime of the Corsairs and the Massachusetts Maritime Academy match this evening at Cressy Field to benefit the Charlie Correia Scholarship Fund.

First touch between the Buccaneers and the Corsairs is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 8. General admission is free for all fans. 

The UMass Dartmouth men's soccer team and the Dartmouth Youth Soccer Association will team up four times during the 2013 campaign.  The first five vs. five scrimmage was held at halftime of the University of Southern Maine match on Saturday, October 5.  The final two halftime exhibitions will be conducted on Saturday, October 19 (Plymouth State) and seven days later against Little East rival Eastern Connecticut State University.

Join the Southcoast Centers for Cancer Care at the following events in Dartmouth during the month of October and show your support. Cancer center staff will have a resource table with awareness and prevention facts, pink glow sticks and awareness bracelets.  Join us as we help raise awareness about the importance of cancer prevention, screenings and early detection in our community.
