Men's Swimming and Diving Improves to 2-1

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. – The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth men's swimming and diving won their second consecutive meet after defeating Bridgewater State University 135-88 on Tuesday evening.

UMass Dartmouth freshman Grayham Ronan (Millis, Mass.) placed first in both the 100 and 200 yard freestyle competitions, while classmate Brian McCauley (Franklin, Mass.) earned the top spot in the 1000 yard freestyle and the 200 yard individual medley with times of 11:55.11 and 2:31.24.

The Corsair's 200 yard Meley Relay team comprised of Robert Muir (Sagamore Beach, Mass.), Bryan Baranick (Assonet, Mass.), Phil Lowney (Mattapoisett, Mass.) and Time Douchette (Middleboro, Mass.) won with a finishing time of 1:47.28.

Senior Conor Szarek (Leominster, Mass.) smoked the competition in both the one meter and three meter diving events with scores of 204.55 and 200.20.

UMass Dartmouth is back in action on Saturday when the host the Louise Goodrum Invitational at noon.
