Men's Tennis Heads for Stonehill

NORTH DARTMOUTH, MA-The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's men's tennis team will play in a tournament at Stonehill this weekend as part of their non-traditional season.

The Corsairs are participating in the annual Stonehill College Columbus Day Tournament, along with Bridgewater State, Endicott, Nichols, Roger Williams, Salve Regina and the host Skyhawks.

"We're returning five of our top six players, including (junior) Karsten Rathlev (Winchester, MA/Winchester HS), (senior) Brennan Dugas (East Falmouth, MA/Falmouth HS), (sophomore) Matt Bejtlich (Rochester, MA/Moses Brown HS), (junior) Mike Parker (Scituate, MA/Scituate HS), and (senior) Brian Lui (Medfield, MA/Medfield HS)," said UMass Dartmouth Head Coach Tom Mendell. "We also have (junior) Guillaume Cote, an international student from Grenoble, France."

Team matches at the tournament will consist of four singles matches and one doubles match.

The Corsairs are the defending Little East Conference champions.
