How it Happened
In doubles play, it was the pairing of Chris Harrow (North Reading, Mass.) and Luke Horton (Bass Harbor, Me.) that got the Pride's first win of the day. The Corsair duo of Tristin Viale (Westfield, Mass.) and Eli Brooks (Franklin, Mass.) attempted to even the scoring, but Johnny Pallotta (Bay Shore, N.Y.) and Nolan Bebarta (Danville, Cal.) took home the 8-2 victory.
In singles, Brooks and Cam Charbonneau (Gilford, Conn.) faced off in an exciting showdown that went to a decisive third set. After each competitor recorded a 6-4 win in the first pair of sets, it was ultimately the host Charbonneau that outlasted Brooks by a score of 10-8.
