DAYTONA BEACH, FL-The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's cheerleading team fell just short of winning their sixth national championship in 11 years. The Corsairs, who started the final day of competition in first place in the All-Girl Division III National Cheerleading Association Championships, finished second when competition concluded at the Ocean Center Friday. Azusa Pacific claimed the 2010 championship. The competition was the final action of the season for UMass Dartmouth.
