Michael Pallister was born in Canberra, Australia where he began playing field hockey at the age of five. For the past 19 years, he has been playing both field hockey and indoor hockey under various coaches, some of whom have national and international experience. He played junior hockey for Central Hockey Club winning six consecutive championships in the state competition. He continued with field hockey in high school where his Canberra team won the championship in Under 15's. In college, he was the leading goal scorer in each of his four years at Marist College. During his junior hockey career, he was twice selected in the State team to play in the national championships where his team finished 7th and 5th. He played field hockey for my college, the Australian National University and represented them at the University Games in 2005. Pallister was MVP for the St Patricks Field Hockey Club second grade mens team in 2007 and currently plays first grade mens hockey in the state competion for St Patricks. He is currently a graduate student at UMass Dartmouth where he is in his second season as an assistant coach for the Corsairs. Contact Coach Michael Pallister |
