Women's Lacrosse Set for 2010 Opener

After earning the fourth seed and advancing to the semi-finals of the Little East Conference Tournament last season, the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's women's lacrosse team hopes to continue their improvement this season. The Corsairs will open their 2009 season when they play Sweet Briar Monday afternoon in West Palm Beach, FL. [+]

Two Corsairs Earn Little East Women's Lacrosse Honors

Two members of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's women's lacrosse team have earned Little East Conference honors. Junior midfielder Kara Basque (Plainville, MA/King Phillip Regional HS/Sacred Heart) has been named second team All-LEC, while freshman midfielder Allison O'Rourke (Weymouth, MA/Weymouth HS) was named LEC Women's Lacrosse Rookie of the Year.
