Junior goalkeeper Krista Chauvin (Seekonk, MA/Seekonk HS) earned first team All-Conference honors, while sophomore forward Maura Goncalves (Dartmouth, MA/Dartmouth HS) and junior defender Sam Silvia (Dighton, MA/Dighton-Rehoboth HS) earned second team honors.

LEC Playoff Schedule Revised
The Little East Conference playoff schedule for the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth’s teams has been changed, due to the effects of Hurricane Sandy. The women’s soccer team and field hockey team, which were scheduled to begin their playoffs Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively, will now begin action Wednesday and Thursday.

Women's Soccer Makes NSCAA Regional Rankings
Once again, the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth’s women’s soccer team has earned a regional ranking. The Corsairs are tied for 10th in the New England region in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America/Continental Tire weekly ranking. UMass Dartmouth is tied with Gordon, Westfield State and St. Joseph (CT).

Junior goalkeeper Krista Chauvin (Seekonk, MA/Seekonk HS/Stonehill) Chauvin has been named Little East Conference Goalkeeper of the Week, while junior defender Kathleen Landers (Danvers, MA/Danvers HS) has been named LEC Defensive Player of the Week. It's the third time this season that Chauvin has been honored, while Landers was honored for the first time.

The Corsair women's soccer team will hold a meeting for those interested in trying out next Tuesday, September 4th, at 4:00 p.m. at the Tripp Athletic Center. The tryout will take place on Thursday, September 6th on the grass soccer field behind the Tripp Center at 4:00 p.m.

Women's Soccer Picked Fifth in LEC Poll
The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth’s women’s soccer team has been picked to finish fifth in the annual Little East Conference pre-season poll. The Corsairs received 29 points in the poll, six points behind fourth-place UMass Boston, and five points ahead of sixth-place Plymouth State.
