Softball Splits Doubleheader at Bridgewater State

Junior Brittany Eldridge (Raynham, MA/Bridgewater-Raynham HS) pitched a two-hitter in the nightcap and the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's softball team defeated host Bridgewater State, 3-2 in the second game and earned a split of their non-conference doubleheader at Alumni Field Monday. Junior right-hander Ashley Felaccio (Acushnet, MA/Fairhaven HS/Massasoit CC) pitched a five-hit shutout and junior catcher Hannah Rounds (Lincoln, RI/Lincoln HS) drove home the only run in the top of the seventh inning as the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's softball team blanked host Framingham State, 1-0, in the second game and earned a split of their non-conference doubleheader at Farley Field Sunday.
