Swimmers Finish Strong at ECAC Championships

ANNAPOLIS, MD-Two members of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's swimming performed well as the Corsairs concluded action on the final day at the three-day, Eastern College Athletic Conference Championships at LeJeune Hall Sunday..
For the women, sophomore Katelyn Kidney (Lynn, MA/Lynn Classical HS/Bryant) finished 21st in the 200 yard butterfly with a time of 2:12.75. For the men, sophomore Christian Francia (Hampton, NH/Winnacunnet HS) was seventh in three meter diving with a score of 226.55 points.
"It was great to be back at the ECAC meet again," said University of Massachusetts Dartmouth Head Coach Cathy Motta. "It is always an exciting meet to participate in, and our student-athletes did well in a strong field of Division I, II and III swimmers. We are looking forward to next season, in the hopes of returning with more athletes."
The meet was the final action of the season for the Corsairs.
