Three members of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's women's tennis team have earned post-season honors from the Little East Conference. Sophomore Allison Furtado (Fairhaven, MA/Fairhaven HS) was named second team All-Conference at number four singles, while freshman Hannah Schulze (Chelmsford, MA/Chelmsford HS) and junior Liz Girczyc (Attleboro, MA/Attleboro HS) were named second team All-LEC at number three doubles. Women's Tennis Bows To Bridgewater State In LEC Playoffs

Host Bridgewater State won two of the three doubles matches and went on to defeat the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's women's tennis team, 5-2, in their Little East Conference Tournament semi-final match at the Dr. Henry Rosen Memorial Tennis Courts Saturday. Following conference rules, the match was terminated as soon as the Bears won five matches. [+]
