Cutler edged 2013 NCAA participant and teammate Adam Jones for the top spot on the podium in the high jump event this past weekend at the Tufts University Invitational. The freshman from Attleboro, Mass. cleared 1.98 meters to out leap the 12-person field. In his first collegiate meet at the UMass Boston Invitational earlier this season, Cutler jumped 6' 10 ¼'' in the indoor high jump competition, succeeding the previous UMass Dartmouth Indoor high jump record (6' 9 ¾'') set by Jones during last year's campaign.
Both the men and the women track and field teams will compete in the MIT Invitational on Saturday.
