Volleyball Ranked 14th in New England Poll

NEW LONDON, NH-For the first time in recent memory, the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's volleyball team has earned a regional ranking.

 

The Corsairs have been rated 14th in the weekly New England Women's Volleyball Association Division III Poll.

 

With a 10-0 record, the Corsairs are one of four undefeated teams in the rankings.

 

"Considering that we have nine freshmen, I'm ecstatic," said UMass Dartmouth Head Coach Steve DeRossi. "It's a good reflection of how our team has done. We still have a lot of our schedule in front of us, but it's nice to be honored."

 

The Corsairs will return to action when they visit Bridgewater State Thursday.
