NEWTON, Mass. – The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth volleyball team was swept in three sets by Lasell College on Thursday evening at the Lasell Athletic Center.
UMass Dartmouth was unable to win a set in their second straight match as they lost 11-25, 12-25 and 19-25.
Top performers for UMass Dartmouth were sophomore Jasmine Burris (New Bedford, Mass.) who posted a team-high five kills, sophomore Brianna Perry (New Bedford, Mass.) with 13 digs and freshman Christina Spinazola (Medway, Mass.) who distributed 10 assists and six digs.
For the home team, Sharisse Scott-Rawlins (Brockton, Mass.) led the attack with a game-high 11 kills, Alyssa Nahigian (Coventry, R.I.) handed out 16 assists and Jordan Seid (Rowland Hts. Calif.) recorded 18 digs.
With the loss the Corsair's overall record dropped to 6-15, while the Lasers improved to 13-10 on the year.
On Saturday afternoon UMass Dartmouth travels to Gordon College for a tri-match with Daniel Webster.
