Two Corsairs Earn Little East Conference Honors

Two members of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's cross country teams have been honored by the Little East Conference. Freshman Jeremy Francisco (Dartmouth, MA/Dartmouth HS) has been named LEC Men's Cross Country Rookie of the Year, while sophomore Caitlin McGarigal (Shutesbury, MA/Amherst Regional HS) was named Little East Women's Cross Country Rookie of the Year. Cross Country Teams Post Improved Performances at NCAA Regionals

Both of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's cross country teams improved over their performances a year ago at the NCAA Division III Regionals at the Twin Brooks Recreational Center Saturday. The Corsair men finished 14th in a field of 48 teams while the women were 26th of 47, with each finish two places better than the teams did a year ago. [+]
