WESTPORT, MA-The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's equestrian team finished first at their home Saturday, November 13th, which the Corsairs hosted at the Two Rivers Equestrian Center in Westport, MA.

Freshman Emily White (Westport, MA/Westport HS) finished first in the Open Flat class. In the Intermediate Flat class, senior captain Kerin Devine (Hanover, MA/Hanover HS) placed second. Freshman Chelsea O'Brien (North Attleboro, MA/Bishop Feehan HS) placed first in both her Novice Fences and Flat classes, and was named the High Point Rider. In the Walk Trot Canter Advanced class, freshman Hayley Paige (Springfield, MA/Cathedral HS) placed second, and in Beginner Walk Trot Canter, freshman Kathryn Gardner (Concord, MA/Concord-Carlisle HS) came in first.

"It was a wonderful way to end the fall season," said UMass Dartmouth Head Coach Meredith Arden. "The team has been training hard all semester, and their hard work was rewarded at the show."
