Equestrian Finishes Fourth In Final Fall Competition At Assumption IHSA Show

NORTH OXFORD, Mass. --  The UMass Dartmouth equestrian concluded its fall campaign with a fourth place finish at the Assumption IHSA Horse Show Saturday afternoon.

Freshman Grace Pulsifer (Northampton, Mass.) placed second in the limit flat and third in the limit jumping for the Corsairs, who received a third place performance from sophomore Devon Frasca (Millis, Mass.) in then open flat.  Senior Lyndsey Getchell (Dartmouth, Mass.) qualified for regionals with a fourth place finish in the limit flat while adding a sixth place performance in limit jumping, while freshman Karrie Cormier (Goffstown, N.H.) was fourth in her novice class.  Junior Kayleigh Sauyet (Andover, Conn.) was fourth in the intermediate jumping and fifth in the intermediate flat during the competition.

Frasca is currently second in the Cacchione Cup points standings in Region 1 for UMass Dartmouth, which resumes its schedule on Saturday, February 29th by competing at the IHSA Region 1 Community Show.
