Equestrian Shares High Point Champion Honors At Becker IHSA Horse Show

PAXTON, Mass. --  Sophomore Devon Frasca (Millis, Mass.) recorded a pair of event victories to earn high point rider honors, as the UMass Dartmouth equestrian team shared high point champion accolades with Johnson & Wales at the Becker IHSA Horse Show on Saturday afternoon.

Frasca was first in both the open fences and open flat for the Corsairs, who received a pair of second place finishes in the novice fences and novice flat from freshman Grace Pulsifer (Northampton, Mass.).  Freshman Karrie Cormier (Goffstown, N.H.) was third in the novice fences for UMass Dartmouth, which received respective fourth and fifth place finishes in the intermediate flat and intermediate fences from junior Kayleigh Sauyet (Andover, Conn.) along with a sixth place finish in the novice flat from junior Elizabeth Sousa (Fall River, Mass.).

The Corsairs will host the UMass Dartmouth IHSA Horse Show on Saturday, October 26th.
