Men's Golf Looks To Take A Swing At GNAC Title This Fall

After finishing as the runner-up in last year’s Great Northeast Athletic Conference Championships, the UMass Dartmouth men’s golf team is ready to take a swing at the title this fall under veteran Head Coach Joel Baptista ‘95.  The Corsairs have a busy slate ahead with six competitions in four different states set to take place in September and October.

Baptista, who begins his 19th campaign at the helm, leads his squad in action on September 14-15 at the Middlebury Duke Nelson Invitational.  UMass Dartmouth will also compete at the Williams Fall Invitational (September 21-22), the Farmingdale State Invitational (September 28-29) and the Southern Maine Invitational (October 5-6) before heading back to Vacationland on October 12-13 for the 2019 GNAC Championships hosted by Saint Joseph’s (Maine).  The Corsairs complete their fall schedule on October 21-22 at the 2019 New England Intercollegiate Golf Association Championships that will take place on the rugged Captain’s Course in Brewster, Mass.
