"Nick went out at 41 and came in at 36, which was even par for the back nine," said UMass Dartmouth Head Coach Joel Baptista. "This match means a lot to him. He's two strokes off the individual lead, and I expect him to be in competition for individual medalist honors tomorrow. I was also pleased with Scott Woodacre's performance for the Gold team. He played a great round today, but a few putts got away from him and prevented him from shooting a real low score. It's good to get two teams into this tournament. We are getting a lot of people some experience who haven't got experience in the past, and that will give us a feel for what we have going into the fall."

The Hampton Inn Classic will conclude Saturday.
