"It was nice to see the men win the title," said Umass Dartmouth Head Coach Steve Gardiner. "The women had some people with injuries, and they did about as well as they could have done, and it's a credit to their perseveence that they finished second. For the guys, some things did not go as well as we hoped, and we were behind the whole meet until the last event, the 4 x 4 relay, and it was a credit to them to step up and secure the victory. We had people like kainoa Culverhouse, Adam Jones, Kyle Costa and Ben Girard come through and get points for us."

The Corsairs will return to action at the New England Division III Championships next weekend.
